Losi Rear Hub and Axle Upgrade

Losi’s 1 Piece Rear Hub upgrade in Grey anodized aluminum also includes a solid steel axle set for the Losi Mini Rock Crawler.
This upgrade replaces the stock ball joint rear drive with a solid shaft. Use the old ones as spares for the front! Of course the solid shaft takes away the easy to do 4 wheel steer that the stock rig is set up for but this is a Comp Rig and 4WS isn’t legal so in this case the other added benefits are worth the replacement.

In addition to the axle upgrade the aluminum hubs offer more clearance with a more svelte form and recessed screws that are more out of the way than the standard rear hubs.

This upgrade is a bit spendy but the quality is great and, for comp rigs, worth it!

If your model of car offered it as an option, and it’s at least a few years old, you can often find the parts in a junkyard. If you have a newer model car, it can be rather expensive, especially for rear disc brakes on a car where they were not an original option.
