Losi Rear Hub and Axle Upgrade

Losi’s 1 Piece Rear Hub upgrade in Grey anodized aluminum also includes a solid steel axle set for the Losi Mini Rock Crawler.
This upgrade replaces the stock ball joint rear drive with a solid shaft. Use the old ones as spares for the front! Of course the solid shaft takes away the easy to do [...]

Schmenzer’s DMG NAT Part 3

Mounting the ESC, Receiver and Battery
For now I am using stock Losi electronics but I may end up upgrading down the road.
There is some decent room in the NAT for electronics but a bit of planning made things go easier. After trying components in different spots I basically decided to go with a similar set [...]

Working on Schmenzer’s NAT Part 2

I added an ounce [...]

I have been driving my Mini Rock Crawler stock for a few weeks now while we decided what to do for the rules we will use for our indoor crawling league. I am impressed with it stock but once we decided to allow mods and tweaking it only took me about 10 minutes to start [...]

Losi MRC at Dave’s House

I took my Losi Mini Rock Crawler to my friend Dave’s to goof around in the yard and listen to the roundy-round racing on the radio. Dave already had a few rocks from messing around with an A-Tech LeoX  so we looked around the yard and alley for a few more choice pieces and in [...]

Losi Mini Rock Crawler

Derrick, Justin and I all picked up Losi Mini Rock Crawlers a few weeks back and met at the Mini Speedway shop to check out how they work on the indoor rock course. The thing is very capable and impressed us all with its crawling prowess. For an out of the box rig it is [...]
